MAFI fresh grads clinch 100% passing rate in 2015 LET
MAFI’s Collegiate Degree Scholarship Project (CDSP), the Foundation’s flagship project under the Educational Development Program (EDP) notched eight Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) and one Agriculturist Licensure Exam (ALE) passers in the recent PRC licensure examinations for 2015.
The successful examinees from MAFI belong to the batch of graduates last March 2015 from University of Southern Mindanao (USM) Kabacan Main and Kidapawan City campuses.
This year’s examinees availed the Graduates Licensure Examination Assistance Package (GLEAP) regularly extended by MAFI to all graduate-grantees whose courses require professional licenses from PRC after graduation.
This year’s passing rate marks the highest percentage in the history of MAFI’s assisted graduate-scholars in licensure examinations, boosting the overall a record to 38 LET passer of the 44 graduates and 3 ALE passers of the 4 graduates who sought GLEAP since 1994.
MAFI’s GLEAP is a financial package for the graduate scholars of the Foundation which consists of payment for desired review center, review on course majoring, coaching and refreshers, review materials, PRC fee, transportation and board and lodging allowances during examination date.
This year’s GLEAP grantees and LET passers are; 1. Amisola, Raiza - BSE USM KCC (Malasila, Makilala); 2. Cariquitan, Rachel - BSE USM KCC (Tagbac, Magpet); 3. Catulong, Allou - BTTE USM KCC (Poblacion, Magpet); 4. Elicot, Fevee - BSE USM KCC (Mua-an, Kidapawan City); 5. Guita, Gilbert - BSE USM KCC (Kinarum, Magpet); 6. Melodias, Mildred May - BSE USM KCC (Manongol, Kidapawan City); 7. Ondot, Jerick - BTTE USM KCC (Meohao, Kidapawan City); 8. Pandayan, Rhio - BTE USM KCC (Malasila, Makilala); and 9. Calago, Alexander, Jr. - BS agriculture USM Main campus (Tagbac, Magpet)
These passers belong to the batch of CDSP grantees admitted in 2011 in licensure exam-required courses offered by MAFI that graduated last March 2015. Two (2) members of this batch graduated cum laude and were immediately hired as contractual teachers by University of Southern Mindanao, Kidapawan City Campus. Other batch members are now gearing to apply in the MAFI-EDC assisted project Teacher-to-the Barangays Project (TTBP), to give them extra leverage during ranking system in their bid for DepEd plantilla positions.
