MAFI, CTCCDI intensify IEC activities
The Information and Education Campaign (IEC)of the foundationis among the drives for this year of the new MAFI ExecutiveDirector Datu Samuel M. Asicam Sr., and CTCCDI chairman Datu Camilo B. Icdang.
The activity which officially kicked off last September 12, 2014 at Liga Hall, Magpet Cotabato, was attended by seven (7) barangay chairmen; nine (9) barangay tribal chieftains, eighteen (18) barangay IPMRs, ten (10) CTCCDI Board of Trustees, seven (7) MAFI personnel and six (6) guests, most of them LGU officials from the municipality.
Subsequently, another IEC held in Makilala municipality last September 26, 2014 at Brgy. Kisante had an audience which included a barangay chairman; 24 barangay tribal chieftains and barangay IPMRs.
The same activity in two (2)clusters of Kidapawan last October 24 and 31, 2014 in Brgy. Sudapin and Brgy Ilomavis, respectively were participated by 2 barangay chairmen; 15 barangay tribal chieftains, 13 barangay IPMRs and 17 guests.
The foundation and its partner organization CTCCDI, who collaborated for this endeavor, worked hand in hand to ensure effective conduct of information dissemination.
This 1st phase of IEC represents the highlights of MAFI's operational and financial undertakings in its 20 years of existence and unswerving service to the barangays within and outside its AOR.
Targeted for the 2nd phase of IEC are the groups and sectors of the communities that have direct involvement and significant influence in the operations of MAFI and CTCCDI
