3 CDSP graduate scholars qualify in MESP
Three (3) MAFI scholar-graduate under Collegiate Degree Scholarship Project (CDSP) and now public school teachers successfully qualified in the Master in Education Scholarship Project (MESP) after a panel interview held last June 28, 2012 at MAFI Board Room, MAFI office, Kidapawan City.
The successful grantees were Dothie Joy Elid-Yap, John Mark A. Edar and Irene A. Nabas.Dothie Joy Elid-Yap comes from barangay Malasila, Cotabato, a regular school teacher at Malasila National Vocational and Technical High School (MNVTHS) who majored in TLE subject. She was a graduate of Bachelor in Secondary Education from North Cotabato Institute of Technology in year 2000 and served as volunteer teacher in MAFI’s Teachers-to-the-Barangay Project (TTBP) for five (5) years.
John Mark A. Edaris also a regular TLE teacher with DepEd’splantilla position at Manumba National High School at Tagbac, Magpet, Cotabato. Mr. Edar who originates from Barangay Tagbac graduated Bachelor of Technology Education (BTE) from the University of Southern Mindanao Kidapawan City Campus (USM-KCC) in year 2009. He volunteered in MAFI’s TTBP for only one month and was immediately given a DepEdplantilla position.
Irene Nabas also comes from Barangay Tagbac, graduated in Bachelor of Technology Education (BTE) from the University of Southern Mindanao Kidapawan City Campus (USM-KCC) in year 2009. By October of the same year she passed the Teacher’s Licensure Examination and served as volunteer teacher in MAFI’s TTBP since January 2010. She is assigned at Kinarum Elementary School.
MESP panelists were Ms. Joyce Monique Mondragon (NCIP), Datu Rodney Fuerte (MTCFI), Datu Ruben Elman (CTCC), DatuDamasoBayawan (Kidapawan Chieftain), DatuRaymundoOnggona (EDC) and Mr. Mario Aniciete (MAFI).
