On May 26, 2010, the Mount Apo Foundation, Inc. (MAFI) held its General Assembly meeting at Lady M Restaurant, Kidapawan City. Fifty (50) of the 65 active members of the Foundation attended the meeting, either in person or by proxy. The general assembly meeting was presided by the Board Chairman Engr. Marcelino M., Tongco.
Featured during the meeting were operations and financial reports for the years 2008 and 2009. The President’s report, which focused on program accomplishments during the period, was rendered by MAFI Vice President Joseph A. Evangelista, in lieu of MAFI President Engr. Ellsworth R. Lucero. Engr. Manuel M. Llaneza, MAFI treasurer, delivered the Treasurer’s Report which detailed the Foundation’s financial statements and status as of December 31, 2008 and December 31, 2009.
The general assembly meeting was highlighted by the election of the members of the Board of Trustees. Elected as trustees, and the institutions they represent, were as follows:

An organizational meeting of the Board of Trustees followed the general assembly meeting and the corporate officers elected were as follows:

The Board appointed Ms. Agnes C. de Jesus as Board Adviser and Atty. Jasmine D. Medina-Almogino as Assistant Corporate Secretary. The general assembly also re-appointed Valdes, Abad & Associates as the external auditor of the foundation.
