Extra Mile of MAFI for the December 15, 2019 earthquakes - Extended calamity assistance to the earthquake victims in four (4) municipalities of Davao del Sur (928 households), which is outside of its AOR.
MAFI received its first-ever three (3) Anvil Awards for programs and publications (2 gold and 1 silver Anvils) awarded by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) during the 55th Anvil Awards Night held at the Manila Hotel. The submission of MAFI entries was done through the Energy Development Corporation CSR-PR group.
Pivot re-entry planning (for June-December 2020) was conducted by MAFI due to COVID-19 pandemic to adjust its program priorities for education, environment and cultural heritage and to adapt to the situation for health and safety concerns.
Soap Making Project was initiated as a concrete response of MAFI to COVID-19 pandemic as a platform to raise awareness on the importance of handwashing to protect against the virus, to promote MAFI as a foundation, and to raise funds for community livelihood support.
Initiated the process of redesigning the MAFI website through the assistance of the Works of Heart Creatives, Inc., to carry the new brand of the foundation and to better promote MAFI for resource mobilization.
MAFI’s accreditation application as official NGO partner in the Province of Cotabato was approved.
