Adult Literacy Assistance Project

The Adult Literacy Assistance Project (ALAP) involves the provision of financial assistance to qualified Adult Literacy Class ( ALC) Instructor in the form of monthly honorarium. This project is in support to the adult literacy program of the Summer Institute of Linguistics (SIL) based in Barangay Ilomavis, Kidapawan City which was later on handled by Obo Manobo Active Language Resource and Community Development, Inc. (OMALRACDI).

The adult literacy class is conducted under the supervision of OMALRACDI within a period of six (6) months. Classes are held during Saturdays and Sundays and normally start in June and end in December. It involves reading, writing and arithmetic lessons for adults.
