DSWD accreditation and renewal of license to operate awarded to MAFI

Mount Apo Foundation, Inc. (MAFI) has been an accredited Social Welfare Development Agency (SWDA) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) – Standards Bureau since 2016.

Under the scholarship program where MAFI used to operate a dormitory facility to house its scholars, and the implementation of other development programs such Community and Environment and Cultural Heritage, it is mandated by law to get the necessary registration and license to operate from DSWD.

After satisfactorily passing the regular performance evaluation of its operations and compliance with the DSWD requirements after three years (for the first level standards), MAFI was awarded its renewal of Certificate of Accreditation and Registration Certificate and License to Operate for another three years covering July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2022. These certificates were awarded to and received on December 19, 2019 by Mr. Armando C. Pacudan, Executive Director, together with his staff: Mr. Elmer C. Cabuyao (Admin/HR OIC Director), Ms. Nerissa O. Bandiola

 

 

Being a SWDA, the certificates issued by DSWD was in satisfactory compliance with the provision of Section 23, Republic Act 4373, “An Act to Regulate the Practice of Social Work and Operation of Social Work Agencies in the Philippines and for other Purposes.”

Committed to its mission, MAFI seeks to be recognized as a leader and capable organization in promoting culturally diverse and sustainable programs in Mt Apo.
