Ensures the sustainable and symbiotic relationship of the communities within the Mount Apo Natural Park through the formulation and implementation of a fit- to-purpose, responsive and sustained Community and Environment Program.

Environmental initiatives could come in different forms: 1) Environmental Awareness and Advocacy among IP communities and upland dwellers, 2) Solid Waste Management, 3) Biodiversity Conservation in specific sites within the Area of Responsibility (AOR), 3) Partnership and Collaborative Projects with DENR, LGUs, NGOs, IP Organizations, and other conservation-based organizations, and 4) Participation in policy formulation, lobbying, protection and preservation of Mt. Apo through the Protected Area Management Board (PAMB).

Earthquake Relief Operation

A total of 3,801 households in 26 barangays of the AOR in North Cotabato and several barangays of the four (4) municipalities in Davao del Sur were assisted with food packs, water, hygiene kits, medicines, tents, and other relief goods during the October and December 2019 earthquakes in Mindanao.
