The years 2018 and 2019 were the periods of program and strategic review of the foundation’s directions and the implementation of the necessary changes, the creation and strengthening of the Executive Committee, the sub-Board committees on Education, Community and Environment, and Tribal Welfare, and most importantly, the turn-over of responsibilities from the outgoing BOT members to the incoming trustees.
The branding project was pushed and realized when the new Executive Director, with the guidance of the Board President, joined MAFI in February 2019, and where a Manila-based creative design company named Works of Heart Creatives, Inc. was engaged for a three-month contract.
Midway in 2018 saw the need for MAFI to go into a process of introspection. Starting with program evaluation that served as a springboard to the next process, MAFI underwent
